Gr 1 Assessments

Grade 1 learners' early literacy competencies such as reading comprehension, phonics and concepts about print continue are to be assessed using the PM Benchmark Reading Assessment.

Teachers and Principals can access the necessary documents and instructions for administering PM Benchmark testing here. 

New primary teachers, as well as anyone needing a refresher should have training to use this tool. Please contact Michelle Miller-Gauthier for training and information about PM Benchmark Testing. 

Please use the secure staff apps portal to input your data for the PM when assessments are complete.
