Gr 8 Assessments

The only district-wide assessment required for Grade 8 learners is the CCR. Other assessments are available as necessary or required at the school level.

CCR  - Required in September and May

The Cross-Curricular Reading Assessment (CCR) is administered to all grade 8 students at the end of the year. It is structured around non-fiction reading and comprehension. Students who have accommodations need to be provided with them for this assessment.

Staff can access the required materials and instruction to administer the CCR assessment here.

SNAP

Gr 8 learners' number sense is assessed using the SNAP number sense assessment. Please access the SNAP template, rubrics and supporting documents here.
